I made this birthday cake for a friend who is quite fond of monkeys. The cake was a peanut butter cake with chocolate frosting, covered in chocolate fondant. The monkey, rocks, and grass were also made of fondant. Pretzel rods where used as palm tree trunks and fondant leaves were attached to them to complete the look.
