This cake was for my mother-in-law who had been ill, but made a complete recovery. The elephants were hand molded out of fondant. I haven’t thought up a name for the cake yet, but it was basically a yellow cake with some pistachios, almonds, rose water, saffron, and cardamom. It was frosted in an Italian Meringue buttercream.
