How do I order?
The best way to place an order is to fill out the Price Request form for a no obligation price estimate. You can also email me, jen@80cakes.com, with the details of the order. For custom cake orders and favors orders I ask for orders to be finalized at least 30 days in advance, but I may be able to accommodate short notice orders as well. During wedding season (late spring to early fall) I get very booked up so ordering well in advance is recommended.
Where are you located?
The Around the World in 80 Cakes studio is located in Washington Borough, NJ and is open by appointment only so please call ahead. Check out some photos of the cake studio here.
Is there a minimum order?
For all custom cake orders I ask that you reach a minimum order of $250. The minimum order for cupcakes is two dozen and for edible favors the minimum is 36.
Do you offer tastings?
Tastings are free for all booked orders over $250. If you are not ready to book with us just yet there is a $30 charge for tasting sessions, however that fee will be deducted from the total of your order (for orders over $250) if you book with us after the session. Tasting sessions include your choice of 2 cake flavors, 2 filling flavors, and 2 frosting flavors as well as a detailed cake design and estimate. Tastings are done in the form of cupcakes and you will get 12 cupcakes total. Whatever you don’t finish at the tasting you can take home.
How much do cakes cost?
Tiered cakes start at $4.50 per serving for basic flavors with buttercream and $5.50 per serving for fondant. For Wedding cakes (tiered cakes that are three tiers and up) the top tier is included free for the bride and groom to save for your 1st anniversary. Celebration cakes start at $3.50 per serving for non-tiered buttercream. Final price will depend on the number of servings, flavors chosen, detail of the design, and delivery charges. All orders require a 25% deposit at the time of booking.
Do you deliver?
Yes! Delivery within a 10 mile radius of Washington, NJ is free. I also deliver to the NY, NJ, and PA tri-state area for an additional fee. Delivery fees are based on distance and difficulty of delivery.
Do you offer allergen free cakes?
I are pleased to offer limited cake flavors that are gluten and dairy free. Please contact me for more information. Please be advised I do use dairy, wheat, soy, and nuts in our facility.
