This elegant heart shaped birthday cake was for one of my wonderful neighbors. Her and her daughter always visited me at the Washington Farmer’s market last summer. I’m really looking forward to seeing them again at the market this season. The cake was chocolate cake with ganache filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. It was adorned with red roses and lilac violets.
