This cherry blossom cake was made for a 25th anniversary party. The cake was covered in a light blush fondant and adorned with brown fondant branches along with hand made pink gumpaste cherry blossoms. The design was replicated on the back of the cake for a 360 view.
Each tier was a different flavor combination. The bottom was white cake, with raspberry preserves and coconut buttercream. The middle tier was cookies & cream cake, chocolate ganache filling, and vanilla buttercream. The top tier is what I like to call my Almond Joy cake (because I always feel like a nut): Almond cake, chocolate ganache filling and coconut buttercream.
