Angry Birds Cake

This birthday cake was for a guy who loves the game Angry Birds. As the wife of someone who also loves the game I was very excited to make it. Unfortunately after I made the piggies my husband got very attached to them. He especially liked the one with the mustache. I think I know what his birthday cake will be this year 😉

All the figures were hand molded out of fondant. The cake was covered in buttercream, but I put all the characters on a piece of fondant so that they could be easily removed from the cake and saved without getting messy.
