These cupcakes were for an outdoor wedding with the theme of lavender and lemons. When I first spoke with the bride I immediately suggested one of the flavors be my lavender lemon cake and with one taste her and the groom agreed. The other two flavors were gluten free chocolate cake and peach. Each cupcake was topped with a hand made royal icing flower in yellow and purple. The top tier was iced smooth with buttercream, wrapped in a yellow fondant ribbon and topped with a handmade dried lavender wreath.
